Dynamic Optimization is both a personal blog and an online journal which focuses on the interdisciplinary application of problem-solving techniques from engineering and computer science to social and political issues. I believe that personal experience and intellectual analysis need to be closely coupled rather than separated by a wall of "professional" detachment; such detachment only produces a dangerous illusion of objectivity over subjects which are inherently subjective.
